Why should carrot juice be replacing your protein shakes?

If you want muscle you need to be thinking of health! That’s why if muscle building is your goal it is time to drop those harmful synthetic supplements and start eating/drinking carrots. Carrots contain that many nutrients, they are like a natural multivitamin in an orange bar.

Here are some of the useful nutrients carrots have to offer:

  • vitamin B6
  • molybdenum

Carrots vs Protein shakes

While carrots are balanced, natural, abundant in amino acids, enzymes, nutrients and antioxidants; protein shakes are processed, acid forming and generally bad for your health. The reason more people in gyms seem to be relying on these shakes for their results is that supplement companies make so much profit on whey products that they put huge amounts of money into marketing them.

The last word…

Unfortunately the carrot doesn’t make anyone rich, but trust me carrots and carrot juice is a large part of my training arsenal and since I have implemented them into my diet I have seen huge gains in muscle and in fat loss.
