Quick tip – How to stay focused when losing weight

Being overweight can be upsetting and can crush your self-esteem. It’s normal to feel that you are trapped inside a body you just don’t like to look at. I even struggled myself when I was younger and although I was never huge, I hated my physique.

 

The problem with this attitude is avoidance of the issue. Many people pretend there isn’t a problem and just try to forget. However if you are serious about losing weight you need to fight this feeling, accept where you are right now and if it’s not how you want to be, it’s time for a change of lifestyle. Here are my tips for staying motivated…

  • Look in the mirror at least once per day
  • Weigh yourself once per week
  • Take photos of yourself weekly (with the flabby parts showing)
  • Write down your daily routine (training, eating, drinking, sleeping)

Keep up this routine and your motivation will never dwindle!
