My personal training sessions have included learning how my body works, which has made a huge impact in the understanding of my training and the results. My aim was to lose weight from my mid section and to also generally tone up.
Mike identified a periodised programme for me which started with the basic essentials, looking at what foods to eat and when to eat them as well as the impacts that these foods had upon my body. My programme consisted of three parts;
My consultation identified a diet that would fit in with my training schedule as well as my lifestyle, which I’m happy to say still meant that I was able to eat tasty and enjoyable foods, but knowing the proportions and when to eat them.. then a five week rolling programme consisting of cardiovascular and resistance training. Throughout this time Mike was in contact by phone and text messaging, to ensure I remained focused on my goal and motivation levels stayed high.
I can honestly say that there is literally no one who can motivate you like Mike. In the four months that I have been regularly training with him, he has pushed me to limits that I never knew were achievable.
I am absolutely delighted with the results that I have obtained to date since working with Mike. The whole experience has not only been educational, but also enjoyable, which I must credit a large amount to my trainer with his attitude and knowledge
