Why Personal Training?
Some things in life, you are perfectly capable of doing them yourself. However, fitness and nutrition are very complex areas and they can baffle even the smartest of people. Often I hear of someone joining the gym and the first thing they say is "I want to lose weight, so I'm going to come to the gym 3/4 times a week and do cardio". If only it were that simple!
If you want to achieve a fitness goal there are two ways to go about it:
- One of these is to start reading and I don't mean picking up a copy of "Men's Health" here and there, I'm talking about books and clinical studies. Before you begin you need to make sure you aren't setting yourself up for two years of "I can't understand why I'm not losing weight". If you don't know all the facts, you will make mistakes.
- The alternative is to hire someone who is qualified to help you, and has read all the books for you. A personal trainer cannot give you the results on a plate, but they can give you all the information and motivation you need to get the results you desire.
